While Alea uses best efforts to provide secure and reliable services, no system is completely free from risks. Services are provided "as is", without warranty of uninterrupted availability, performance, or security.

Risk Factors

1. Technological Risk

  • System outages, cyberattacks, or infrastructure failure.
  • Delays in payment processing or settlement

2. Regulatory Risk

  • Changes in applicable Swiss or foreign financial regulations
  • Restrictions or bans on virtual assets or payment systems in certain jurisdictions.

3. Financial Risk

  • Price volatility if clients interact with third-party gateways.
  • Counterparty risk when using external service providers (banks, PSPs, exchanges)

4. Operational Risk

  • Errors or omissions in user input
  • Misuse or theft of account credentials.

Limitation of Liability

Swisspayments shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, business interruption, or data loss.
